Bacolodnon dialect

Bacolodnon is a modern Hiligaynon dialect spoken in the province of Negros Occidental in the Philippines specifically in the City of Bacolod

Bacolodnon is noted for its endearing, sing-song accent [1] and having low or soft spoken tone that may differ from other Hiligaynon regions [2]. It differs from other region because of its use of foreign language with combination of new terms or expression. Often people from Bacolod may use brand name of a product or circumstances to name a person place or thing.
